Ms. Forman was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where she lived until she was 9 years old. She moved with her family to Longview, Washington where she completed her elementary and secondary schooling. After she graduated from RA Long High School in Longview, Ms. Forman went to The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, where she kayaked to school, studied rainforest ecology, learned to ask questions and look at birds.
After Ms. Forman graduated from Evergreen, she lived in upstate New York, then the mountains of Costa Rica where she held the position of resident biologis at Cloudbridge Nature Preserve. While in Costa Rica, Ms. Forman realized that teaching is something she wanted to know more about, so she applied to graduate school, and upon her return, was accepted to pursue her Master's in Teaching at Lewis and Clark College.
The North coast called Ms. Forman's name with its big spruce trees, sweet salty smells, and good people. She loves spending time outside with her son, Bobby, daughter, Emmylou, and partner, Brian. Ms. Forman loves the community of Sharks here at Broadway!
